Inspired by Tim Burton’s "Alice in Wonderland," Janine Jarman, West Coast spokesperson for Sebastian, owner of Hairroin salon in Hollywood and finalist on this season of "Shear Genius," created these exclusive looks for MODERN.

"Janine Jarman, Sebastian spokesperson, owner of Hairroin salon and Shear Genius 3 contestant, created this Alice in Wonderland-inspired look for MODERN. For color on her model, Jarman utilized her ‘Color Melt’ technique, “which is a melting technique I use to transition from dark to light,” she says. “This technique easily imitates a ‘surfer blonde look’ and is achieved without foils.” Jarman uses this technique on 30 percent of her clients, and while she is going a bit more dramatic for this look, she normally stays within three levels on most clients. "
