The Beauty Bus Foundation 1st Annual Beauty Drive, presented by OPI This Sunday!
On April 25 at 11:30 AM,
The Beauty Bus Foundation will host the Beauty Drive, a fundraising event to benefit the Beauty Bus Foundation. The Beauty Bus Foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for homebound, terminally and chronically ill people and their primary caregivers by providing in-home beauty and grooming treatments, free of charge. Taking place at The Mark for Events in West Los Angeles, the Beauty Drive will gather together celebrity guests including Catherine Dent (FX’s hit drama “The Shield”), Jaime Gomez (film and TV star from CBS series “Nash Bridges”) and Omari Hardwick (film and TV actor). KCBS/KCAL Reporter Lisa Sigell will host the event.
The Beauty Drive will involve an exclusive silent auction featuring sought-after items such as Lunch with Amber Valletta, two VIP tickets to the Indianapolis 500, amazing sports and beauty packages, and much more. Guests will indulge in a variety of beauty treatments at the Beauty Drive’s “stations”, which include make up applications and manicures, as well as a never-before-seen Hair Show featuring Hairroin Salon owner and celebrity hairstylist Janine Jarman of Bravo’s “Shear Genius”. In addition, the fundraiser will highlight an interactive gourmet brunch and cocktails. Beauty Drive sponsors include Presenting Sponsor OPI, Bosley, Joico, Weber Shandwick, Hairroin Salon, Naimies, ROB|B Salon and Step and Repeat.
The Beauty Bus Foundation is close to the heart of Sandra Bullock: Bullock reached out to Beauty Bus Foundation last August after seeing a piece about it on the local news.
