This month marks my one year anniversary as a stylist at Hairroin Salon. And it's been one of the best year's ever. I love the stylists I work with and have learned so much from each and every one of them. One of my favorite things about Hairroin is that we are constantly learning, whether it's learning new techniques or just perfecting our current skills. As a salon we also do so much more. We host art openings once every three months, donate services to LAYN and do hair and makeup for fashion shows and photo shoots. I am happy to be a part of such a great, amazing and talented team.

viv + joshua lee sittin in a tree...

I've obsessively been watching Daisy of Love on VH1 because I totally have a crush on London (aka Joshua Lee). If you haven't heard of the show, Daisy was one of the two girls Bret Michaels (lead singer of Poison) had to choose between on his show Rock of Love. Unfortunately Daisy wasn't chosen and has been dating and eliminating men on her own reality love show and has the opportunity to choose my crush, London, to be her "rockstar". He is lead singer of the rock and roll band The Party Death from New York who will soon be releasing their debut ep. I am loving the mohawk, the leather, and the tight pants. I can only hope that Daisy does not choose him so that I, myself, may have a shot at love. ; )

IAMX

I recently saw IAMX for the first time at the El Rey and have basically fallen in love with Chris Corner. For those of you who haven't heard of IAMX, I would describe the music as dark, a little eighties, a little electro. I've been listening to all 3 albums non-stop since I've seen the show. The sound and performance was soooo good that I cannot wait to see them again. Aside from being a talented artist, Mr. Corner has an interesting (and by interesting I mean hot) sense of style and great hair. I recommend you check 'em out. =)
